Left California for North Carolina a few days ago to visit my daughter in the Raleigh/Cary area. The contrast between the dry west and wet east is so dramatic from the air.
Despite all the warnings from my California friends about how I would struggle with the humidity I am finding it rather wonderful. 
Call me crazy but my body seems to crave moisture & there is plenty of it here!
Other Pollens are also heading east this week really raising the east coast Pollen count. With a new Pollen arriving in the world next week, my brother, sister-in-law & niece are all heading from California to Florida, leaving California virtually Pollenless for awhile!! Do I sense a possible eastward migration??
It is so great to be with my daughter in her world … Micro breweries, yoga, hiking around the dozens of lakes here, meeting her friends and, of course, cooking together! We are getting ready for our BIG adventure to Ireland in a few days! Stay tuned for our “Travels in Ireland” posts coming soon😀
